From a Pithoragarh living room
to India's bureau roster.

Tanuj Bhatt registered Candid Media Productions in 2022 from Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. The first six months were one operator with a laptop, a borrowed studio booking, and a pitch list of fifteen journalists.

Today the bureau operates as a 15-person team across editorial, production, distribution and operations. We run our own three-room cinematic podcast studio in Sector 61 Noida, our own production studio for brand films, and we maintain direct desk relationships at 70+ Indian publications across English and Hindi.

We don't outsource the writing. We don't white-label the distribution. The journalist a campaign goes to is someone our editorial lead knows by name. The articles we ship are written in-house, in publication-ready voice, in two languages.
